Jvneav (pronounced like Juneau) is from the Eastern Panhandle of WV and is currently going to school at Shepherd University for Communications. Upon graduation in Spring of 2021, he’ll be continuing on to Graduate school for College Student Development and Administration. At 22 years old, he’s completed most of his life goals and is putting in the work in towards finishing the rest.

He has been performing for years in various groups and competitions, but it is now time for him to express himself as a solo act. He has auditioned for both American Idol and The Voice and came in second place in the 2018 Teens Got Talent competition in Washington County, Maryland.
Jvneav began performing music in the 3rd grade by auditioning for a school talent show and failing to make it in. With the passion of being turned down in his mind, he prepared extra hard for the next year and continued to shock local audiences with his raw vocals and emotional delivery.

He joined a local theater group with a push from his vocal and piano instructor, Shalisha Nason Kerr, and while there, formed a stage presence and bonded with other young performers (like the featured Flo Petite and Kira Lutz.) Even though the stage wasn’t for him, acting is still a large part of his life and he plans on incorporating storylines and characters into his videos for his music.
Since coming to college, Jvneav has experienced life in an entirely new way. Being on his own has given him new perspective on life experiences that he has constantly written down as poetry and song.
