Love Stories Never Start in October is the first cover album of Jvneav. The title comes from a lyric in Sarah Close’s “Call Me Out” that has resonated with Jvneav’s life as of late. In October 2018, he got into his first serious relationship and though it ended badly, he took with him lessons he has learned.
On this album, he explores the ideas of abandonment and learning to live by ones-self again after a breakup. By covering artists like Halsey, Sam Smith, and Katy Perry, he uses their words to form a cohesive story about loss and moving on after. Though it may be hard, he wants to convey the message of life moving on and being secure with yourself to his audience.
