“Never Really Over” is the 9th and final track of Love Stories Never Start in October. The track is originally performed by Katy Perry and was produced by Zedd.

This song combines multiple elements introduced throughout the album to come to an explosive end that reflects on self-love and moving on without a definite ending. This reflects and closes the same sentiments Jvneav sings about throughout the album. It has the most harmonies on the album as well as the most production elements.
Katy Perry puts into words a feeling that not many can explain- the rebirth at the end of a break-up when you realize you will still survive. Even if you think you may need help or therapy, you will get there. Jvneav decided to cover this song because he connected to that feeling and the need for help- he has leaned on his friends and gone to therapy throughout the album development to process the emotions represented.
