“A Thousand Ways” is the 6th song on Love Stories Never Start in October by Jvneav. The song, originally performed by Phoebe Ryan, is about a relationship gone wrong and the multitude of ways someone can feel insecure or crazy about it.
When choosing the song to be on the album, this is what Jvneav had to say:
“I love Phoebe Ryan and I love this song. I had been trying to see Phoebe perform since I won tickets and couldn’t go in 2015 but when she was announced as Carly Rae Jepsen’s opener, I was so excited. She released this song earlier this year and I instantly connected with everything about it. When I saw her perform it live, I cried because it was so good. Then getting to meet her and telling her it was planned to be on my album was INSANE because she was so extremely nice and supportive. I tried to keep the tone and feel of the original but also wanted to make it one of the bigger songs on the album by adding the different tones and key change. This is one of my favorites on the album and having the validation of one of my favorite artists on it is crazy.”
